Change happens to all of us whether we want it to or not! It even happens to toads!!! You may have noticed that our old Fuzzy Duckling webpage has had a very abandoned look! Well, mostly because it was......sort of. But, "LIFE" has been very active the last couple of years. Some of it was good, (in fact, WONDERFUL) while some of it was just, well, DIFFICULT! The "good" was a huge move across country to a new, beautiful state. Also, this move enabled our family to be close together for the first time in years! How WONDERFUL! And, the DIFFICULT......let's not even worry about that! Those things are now in the past! There is finally time now to resurrect ART! (and the website!)
The first change you will notice is the name of our website. As I am growing older, I decided to appeal to a "more mature" audience. So, I have abandoned my cute, little, fuzzy duckling......and moved on to a "cute", warty toad! Hmmmmmm...........WHAT!........BUT wait, there is a good reason for this! We now live in the country, on a road named after toads! Who knew?! And, I do like toads. We have a few living in our koi pond in keeping with our new name. In fact, the toad at the top of our web pages is our very own Hercules!
The second change you will notice is the look of our pages. Some things will be very much the same while other things have changed drastically. I am trying to keep up with the newer technology which, frankly, can be difficult but can also do amazing things.
Thirdly, I have changed the focus just a trifle. This will be a site based on simplicity. You will never have to go out and buy crazy, expensive art supplies in order to do our projects.
Most of our projects will be fairly easy for any age level - young or old. Face it.......us "oldies" need as much help with art as the young ones!
All of that to say, CHANGE CAN BE GOOD! Just embrace it and see what a blessing it can be! And, by the way, I love the new look of our new Toad Road Art Studio Website. I hope you do, too!
